9:00am - 4:00pm (no overnight campers)
AM Session campers: 9:00am - 11:30am (depart prior to lunch)
Any and all boys and Girls that will be attending 7th grade through 12th grade are welcome to attend this camp. We cannot allow any younger students to attend this year.
Hurdles (100M/110M hurdles and intermediate hurdles)
Throws (Shot Put, Discus, Javelin, Hammer)
Horizontal Jumps (Long Jump, Triple Jump)
Vertical Jumps (High Jump)
Distance (800m-5000m)*** Campers wishing to go on DISTANCE runs must list Distance as their primary event when registering. We will take the distance runners off campus to trails throughout Richmond in the mornings. In the afternoons distance runners can either work on another event or stay in the distance group, but they will not leave campus for another distance run.
Pole Vault will not be offered at this camp due to safety concerns and staff limitations.
Campers will choose a primary and secondary event to learn the latest training and competition techniques. Campers can have the same primary and secondary event if they wish. Reminder that distance runs will only take place during the morning session!
Coaches, guest speakers and staff will provide the athletes with the knowledge and skills to improve their performance. For more information on what to expect each day at camp, see the "Typical Camp Day" link on the right hand side of the page.
MEALS @ HEILMAN DINING CENTER:
Each full-day camper will be provided lunch daily. Lunch will be served in the University of Richmond dining hall (D-Hall) from 11:45am-12:30pm. A wide variety of items will be available including a complete selection of vegetarian entrées. AM Session only campers will not receive lunch.
Eary Bird Full Day Camper - $325 (Prior to June 15th)
Full Day Camper - $350 (June 15th or later)
AM Session Camper - $200
Discounts: Siblings will receive $50 off the total cost of camp; immediate family of UR employees will also receive $50 off.
The full cost of our camp will be due at the time of online registration and includes a $100 non-refundable deposit. If we cannot accept your application for any reason, you will be refunded fully. If you cannot attend camp due to illness, injury, or other personal reasons, we will be able to refund your money with the exception of the $100 deposit.
